Commemorating Hardwork as the European Maternity Hospital begins its construction​

Set to be completed and opened in 2021, the European Maternity Hospital has been described as the first facility of its kind in Khalifa City A and will provide health care services for families, women, and infants. Last Wednesday, August 8, 2018, the groundbreaking ceremony was held at the site and were joined by the European Hospital LLC (Project Owner), Swiss Project Management Consultancy (Project Manager) , Close System Architecture Consultancy LLC (Main Consultant), Dar Al Ahd General Contracting & Maintenance (Main Contractor) and Dutch Foundations (Enabling Contractor).

Putting a construction project together is very challenging, the hard work exerted to make a single project possible is unimaginable, not to mention the preparation and processes that every party has to undergo from concept to construction.

The European Maternity Hospital is purposely set to be situated in the Khalifa City area in order to maximize the number of families that would benefit from their specialized services. The hospital has a capacity of 100 beds (postnatal and antenatal bed), plus ICU and NICU department, serve by respected departments such as operation rooms, delivery rooms, imaging and diagnostic department, IVF department, outpatient clinics, pharmacies and laboratory. In addition to its facilities are the women rehabilitation and training for pre-delivery and post-delivery patient. According to the project owner, European Hospital LLC, this will be one of the leading maternity and pediatric facilities in the UAE.
This construction demonstrates the dedication to human life and commitment to creating tailored solutions that make the greatest difference – to serve and care deeply about patients and communities.
